Communication for an individual who is deafblind varies for many different reasons and communication through touch is an integral part of that communication.

Protactile American Sign Language is a language created for the Deaf Blind by people who are Deaf Blind. How does PTASL relate to Tactile ASL? What are other methods of communication for individuals who are DeafBlind? You will leave this training with the ability to provide information through touch from basic communication needs to parts of the Protactile communication that was created.
