September Meet-Up: Apps that Leverage Touch Technology

Do you find yourself struggling to stay ahead of the game with smartphones, tablets and apps becoming more widely used in education in a variety of ways.  For individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, apps can serve a variety of functions such as providing text, signed or visual accessibility as well as being an effective and engaging therapy tool at home and in the classroom.   Join us for this Meet-Up in which Tina Childress will discuss how to leverage touch technology, what features are recommended when working with deaf and hard of hearing students as well as highlighting some of her favorite apps. A useful resource for finding apps will also be shared!
