In October 2026, a team of 20 volunteers—including audiologists, teachers of the deaf, and interpreters—will travel to Cozumel, Mexico to screen over 200 children for hearing loss.

For many of these children, this will be the first step toward truly accessing the world around them.

What Your Support Makes Possible

Children identified with hearing loss will return in January 2027 to:

• Receive hearing aids
• Access support for listening and language development
• Benefit from training provided to their families and teachers

This work is designed to last. Through ongoing support from The Online Itinerant, we are helping build a system that continues to serve these children well beyond our visit.

Each volunteer contributes approximately $1,000 to cover travel and service costs.
