Part 1:

  • This session will focus on essential adaptations that promote communication, independence, and meaningful access to the curriculum.

  • Classroom supports, including the use of visual and tactile schedules, tactile labeling systems for classrooms and school environments, methods for adapting visual materials, and effective integration of assistive technology.

  • Actionable ideas to create inclusive, supportive, and accessible learning spaces.

Part 2:

  • Focus on understanding sensory needs and introduce practical, evidence-informed tools to support regulation.

  •  Sensory regulation strategies tailored to the unique needs of this population, including techniques such as bilateral tapping and other calming supports.

  • Guidance on recognizing signs of sensory dysregulation and implementing effective interventions in both home and school environments.
