Deaf Education Networking and Conference Cruise

1. Booking Responsibility

All cruise bookings for the Conference Cruise are managed by The Online Itinerant. Guests agree that The Online Itinerant is acting as an intermediary to secure cabins with Carnival Cruise Line. Payments collected will be used to book the cruise on behalf of each registered guest.

By registering for this cruise, you authorize The Online Itinerant to submit payment to Carnival Cruise Line on your behalf using its corporate payment method and to act as your agent in managing your reservation.


2. Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit of $250 per person is due at the time of booking.

  • Final balances are due no later than 14 weeks prior to sailing.

  • Failure to pay the full balance by the deadline may result in cancellation of your reservation with no refund of prior payments.

  • All payments must be made via credit/debit card through the official checkout system on www.theonlineitinerant.com.

  • Carnival booking numbers will not be released until your full payment has been processed and submitted.


3. Pricing & Inclusions

Cabin pricing includes:

  • 4-night cruise 

  • Taxes, port fees, and onboard gratuities

  • Access to Conference Cruise training sessions and events
    Pricing does not include airfare, transportation to/from port, optional excursions, travel insurance, or other personal expenses.


4. Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to: [email protected]. No refunds for any reason after 14 weeks prior to sailing: 

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Denied boarding due to lack of valid documentation

  • Missing the ship or port of departure

  • Illness, injury, or emergency after refund deadline

  • Weather events or acts of God


5. Passport Requirements

All guests must travel with a valid U.S. passport that does not expire before 6 months post-cruise. Passports must be in the guest’s legal name.

It is the guest’s sole responsibility to obtain and maintain valid travel documentation. Guests who arrive at the port without valid documents will be denied boarding and forfeit all payments.


6. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. You may choose any provider of your choice. Travel insurance can protect against trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, lost luggage, or weather-related issues.

The Online Itinerant is not responsible for losses that would be otherwise covered by travel insurance.


7. Room Assignments & Cabin Types

Cabins are based on availability and preferences are not guaranteed. Roommates may request to room together, but The Online Itinerant is not responsible for conflicts between travel companions.

If you are traveling alone and request a shared cabin, The Online Itinerant will attempt to match you with a same-gender roommate but cannot guarantee availability. Solo occupancy rates apply otherwise.


8. Itinerary & Port Changes

The cruise line reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to weather, safety, port availability, or other operational needs. The Online Itinerant is not responsible for changes to the ship's itinerary or training schedule due to cruise line decisions.


9. Conference Sessions & Participation

Registered guests will have access to all professional development sessions, social events, and special gatherings organized by The Online Itinerant. Participation is optional, but no portion of the registration fee will be refunded if you choose not to attend sessions.

Certificates of completion or professional development hours will be provided based on participation and host organization policies.


10. Limitation of Liability

By completing registration, you agree to release and hold harmless The Online Itinerant, its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, damages, or losses that may occur before, during, or after the Conference Cruise 2027, including but not limited to:

  • Injury, illness, or death

  • Loss of property

  • Cruise delays or cancellations

  • Denial of boarding

  • Emotional or psychological distress

  • Travel disruptions or medical emergencies


11. Assumption of Risk

Traveling on a cruise and attending public events involves inherent risks. By registering for this event, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with travel, illness (including communicable diseases), injury, or other unforeseen occurrences.


12. Code of Conduct

Guests agree to behave respectfully and professionally during all conference events. The Online Itinerant reserves the right to remove any guest from events or activities for disruptive, dangerous, or disrespectful behavior without refund.


13. Agreement

By completing your registration and payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to all terms and conditions stated above.
